Mexico, Puerto Vallarta

I was in Puerto Vallarta, in Mexico.
I went to Islas Marietas. I saw this place at Amazing pictures.

Skaha Lake

Skaha Lake is also very popular place for climbing.

Skaha Lake Beach

At night, I saw more than 100 ducks eating grasses on the beach.

Climbing

For sport climbing, Skaha Lake is better than Squamish.

Beach rentals???

I stayed there just 2 days.

Rocky 3 Mt. Robson

I went backpacking at Mt Robson for 4 days.

On the back way

I didn't climb to the top of Mt. Robson. We need Alpine climbing gears.

But Mt. Robson Provincial Park is excellent!!!

Rocky 2 - Skoki Trail

I went backpacking for two nights three days at Skoki Trail.

CUMBERLAND

今、バンクーバー島のクンバーランドという所にいます。シャンバラで会ったメグとライアン（メグ・ライアンではない）の家にお世話になってます。普通なら通り過ぎてしまう田舎町ですが、この町は日本人と深い関わりのある町なんです。

I am in Cumberland in Vancouver Island. I stay in my friend's house, Meg and Lyran whom I met at Shambhala. Usually I would pass like this town but here is related with Japanese very much.

１８８０年頃、日本人がここに住み、炭坑を作りました。１９３０年頃にはバンクーバー島で１番大きな都市となりました。第２次世界大戦中、すべての日本人は強制的に立ち退かされ現在のバンクーバーに移り、後に日本人街を作りました。

Around1880 Japanese lived in Cumberland and built coal mines. Around 1930 Cumberland became the biggest city in Vancouver Island because of coals. During WW2, all Japanese were forced to leave, moved to Vancouver and built Japanese town there.
